2001-2010

As an artist, I have always been drawn to the beauty and intricacy of Persian calligraphy and poetry. These art forms are not only a part of my cultural heritage, but they also speak to the very essence of who I am as a person. My father instilled in me a love of poetry from a young age, and it has been a constant presence in my life ever since.

This collection represents my artistic journey between 2001 and 2010, a time of great learning and exploration. During this period, I experimented with a variety of materials, including oil color, acrylic, ink, tar, gold leaf, and more to create works on canvas, metal, and wood surfaces.

What ties these pieces together is the poetic spirit that imbues them. Through the use of calligraphy and the incorporation of written verse, I sought to convey the emotional depth and richness of language. For me, art is a way of connecting with the world around me, delving deeper into the meaning of existence, and of expressing my innermost thoughts and feelings.

This artistic journey increased my literary knowledge about poetry and taught me the challenges of writing on different surfaces. Therefore, these works continue to hold deep significance for me. They are a testament to my artistic evolution, and a reminder of the role that poetry, calligraphy and writing play in shaping my identity as an artist.
